Michael Driver is a London-based illustrator and third year Illustration and Animation student at Kingston University.
His work mainly consists of geometric shapes, sharp lines, flat colours and textures made by a range of diverse implements. “At the moment my work is a marriage of digital and analogue techniques, which often emulates a printed aesthetic.” He has a real love for print and mid-century design. “My work often plays on these influences.” He regularly attempts to experiments with textures and currently he’s been working with a process, which involves the dispersal of ink over paper to create the effect of a grainy gradient.
“I am really excited for the future and am very happy to have my first editorial in this months LeftLion magazine.”
